My name is Mai Kashihara. Like many real estate agents, I view my work as a vocation rather than a job. Real estate is an exciting and dynamic industry that keeps me on my toes. Plus, there's nothing more satisfying than helping people buy or sell their homes. Most of my clients are expatriates relocating to Hawaii for the first time, investors looking for short-term rentals, or families adding to their existing family home (yes, there's always been a soft spot in my heart for young families). I enjoy learning about new cultures and lifestyles—it helps me build bridges between people who are going through some of the most important decisions in their lives. As a resident of Hawaii, I'm also well-versed in the local real estate market. I know what makes a property desirable, and I can make recommendations based on your individual needs. Whether you're looking to buy or sell, I'll help you through every step of the process—researching listings that fit your criteria and setting up showings; negotiating with other parties on both sides of the table; completing all paperwork related to title work and escrow accounts; and filing documents with lenders for financing (which is especially important if this is your first time buying).
